Listening to this “e” couch wisdom-filled interview. One of my first thoughts while listening to Stuart Davis was this: finding the gray area between straight up or straight down (black or white poles) sounds like… life in real life, God in real life. Certainly real life is clumsy and it’s that awkward dance that finds the dazzling color within the gray. Certainty might be missing the point completely.
